Quadrathane™ TPU
The Quadrathane™ family of polycarbonate-based thermoplastic polyurethanes are available in aliphatic and aromatic hard segments. Quadrathane offers superior biocompatibility, chemical resistance, and oxidative stability when compared to other TPUs. It is naturally clear and can be supplied in a wide range of durometers, colors, and radiopacifiers. Quadrathane is typically used in long term implantation applications such as vascular access devices, orthopaedics, pacemakers, wound care, and hemodialysis.
Quadrathane™ ALC, Aliphatic Polycarbonate TPU
Quadrathane™ ALC grades are non-yellowing and offer superior biocompatibility, body softening, and oxidative stability. These polymers are useful in applications where body softening and biodurability are required such as hemodialysis, drainage, and pacemaker leads.
