Dear Biomerics Customers,
Biomerics recognizes the important partnership that we have with our customers to provide critical medical devices. We want to communicate the steps we are taking to limit the impact of COVID-19 to our employees, communities, and customers. We are monitoring the situation on a day-by-day basis, in all six facilities throughout the US and Costa Rica.
The following actions have been implemented:
Travel Restrictions: All travel to areas classified as “High Risk” by CDC is prohibited. Other travel has been restricted to business-critical needs only as approved by Biomerics’ site Presidents. Most meetings have been moved from in-person to electronic applications.
Supply Chain: We continue to monitor our supply chain actively. Alternative suppliers are being qualified, where we have identified supply risks. Should a significant disruption be identified, we are committed to working with our customers to resolve these issues as soon as possible.
Facilities: Additional cleaning protocols have been implemented throughout all of our facilities, including our cleanrooms and non-cleanroom environments. We are daily disinfecting multiple touchpoints throughout the offices, restroom facilities, and as well as common gathering areas, etc. All inbound materials are being reviewed, cleaned, and wiped down completely, with industry-standard anti-bacterial wipes for any possible contagions that could be on the product to help minimize any potential spread.
Employees: Employees have been versed in the importance of proper hygiene. They are instructed not to come to work should they show signs or symptoms of any illness.
