Micro precision metal stamping is a cost-effective solution for producing a wide range of complex products in large quantities. In some cases, we have even transferred the manufacturing process for traditionally machined or cast parts to a stamping operation. In doing so, our innovations in stamping design and manufacturing delivered significant cost savings to our customers. Our precision stamping capabilities include:
- Material thickneses: 0.001” to 0.070″
- Bruderer, Perkins & Komatsu presses (30–110 tons; up to 1,200 strokes per minute)
- In-house tool design & maintenance
- Sanko precision feed systems
- Extensive knowledge of raw materials, including precious & exotic metals
- No-contact reeling & dereeling
- In-line vision systems
- Secondary services, including:
- Laser welding
- Laser marking
- Degreasing
- Electropolishing
- Heat treating
- ISO 9001 & 13485 certified
- FDA registered
- 300+ team members
- 60,000 sq. ft. manufacturing space
- 5,000 sq. ft. cleanroom space
- 22 metal stamping machines
We engineer precision-stamped metal inserts that are purpose-built to facilitate the overmolding process. Our tightly controlled stamping operations deliver exceptional repeatability and tight tolerances. We then overmold these high-quality inserts in the facility, providing our customers with time and cost savings. Learn more about our overmolding operations.
We have decades of experience designing, running and maintaining precision progressive stamping dies. We maintain stamping tolerances and product quality with our well-engineered, close-tolerance tooling. For extremely close-tolerance stampings, in-line Cognex inspection cameras can be included to achieve 100% inspection of critical parts for profile or formed defects. All tooling is maintained in-house and guaranteed for the life of the product, reducing the overall production cost.
As a full-service metals contract manufacturer, we offer an extensive list of metal processing capabilities beyond metal stamping, including laser processing, machining, metal finishing, complex microassembly and metal injection molding (MIM). Many customers initially come to us for stamping without realizing the breadth of our integrated manufacturing capabilities. Our Micro Metals Processing Center of Excellence allows us to manage quality and precision at every stage of production. By maintaining control throughout the entire process, we deliver exceptional consistency, performance and value. Our experienced engineers partner with you to develop and manufacture your medical-grade components and complex subassemblies from a variety of metals, including stainless steel, nitinol and titanium.
