At this world-class facility, we have all the capabilities to design and construct tooling, manufacture micro stamped metal parts and overmold in a variety of materials for your medical device.
Advanced micro metal applications in endoscopy
Micro metal processing is crucial to creating the components needed for endoscopic surgery, such as lumens for drainage, jaws for surgical intervention and fiber optics that allow surgeons to see inside a patient’s body. Most endoscopic surgical tools use micro metals in their construction. We offer a myriad of metal processing capabilities, including microscopic coil winding, Swiss turning and laser tube cutting, all of which are essential in endoscope construction. Common applications include:
Micro-overmolding
Vertical and rotary insert molding presses are used to overmold loose-piece metal, plastic and other materials. Insert loading can be processed using manual loading or automated loading techniques. Rotary insert molding can help achieve your mid- to high-volume needs at competitive costs.
Experienced cross-functional teams
We assign each project to a highly experienced cross-functional engineering team that is focused solely on meeting your specifications for interventional medical components. Working in tandem is our program management team, which manages the project timeline at a higher level.

These dedicated teams are responsible for all aspects of your project, from design to validation. Our teams are accessible to you throughout your project and will provide as many of these resources as required to manage the complexity of your project:

Deep expertise in medical-grade metals
We manufacture high volumes of precise metal parts for medical devices with tight tolerences. With decades of metals and machining experience, we can help you select the best materials for your manufacturing process, application and requirements. Our micro metals processing expertise includes these metals:
Multisensory capabilities
We provide robust micro metals processing with the precise sensor capabilities you require for your medical device. We can equip your device with fiberoptic touch sensors and with superior cameras and lighting to maximize its functionality. In addition, our Micro Metals Processing division will work hand-in-hand with our Interventional Medical Plastics division to provide the right materials for each component of your interventional device, including biocompatible materials when appropriate.
